I'd let you let them use squid for http(s) and ftp (=caching). For apps like
ICQ, IRC, Napster ... it's impossible to use SQUID (but i.e. AIM can go thru
it - clever proggie) so use socks. I run them both on one server with no
prob.

What are your clients (OS/progs to socksify?)
