[SQU] Squid dl multiple times the same file

Often Squid opens several connection to a remote server and it downloads
the same file multiple times:

Why it does not open a single connection to get the file and N sockets to
send it to the stupid user ?
This problem is a major performance killer because it happens mainly when
users dl large files like mp3 and anims. What can I do ?
