Re: [SQU] connection refused with squid...

I think I have nothing else running on port 3128 (anyway, can you tell
me a way to check that? I have Redhat 6.2 on my system...)
I uninstalled squid (rpm), deleted config and log files, reinstalled and
reconfigured again manually from the installed squid.conf, but the same
result...the squid starts properly, no errors, /etc/rc.d/init/squid
status reports that squid is running, but when i try to use it with the
netscape/ie client or the linux client (client http://www.compaq.com) I
get no output (in verbose mode I get the next output:
[root@ns /root]# client -h 192.168.100.1 -v http://www.dnttm.ro
headers: 'GET http://www.dnttm.ro HTTP/1.0
Accept: */*

'
and no more response (it just ends up here...)

can you please tell me how can I trace squid so I can find out what is
going wrong?
this is what I get in /var/log/messages when I start squid:

Thank you very much and hope to find something out...
