Hi,

My squid conf. file has entries :

acl dstdomain local-intranet dom1 dom2 dom3
always_direct allow local-intranet

These entries are unchanged from 2.2.Stable5 .

Have a look in the squid.conf.default file and look for always_direct. Use
of that directive should solve your problem..
