Sorry, but that doesn't hit the problem.

- I changed mime.conf
- I restartet squid
- I checked if this was the right file (removed it -> squid complained)
- I use
        echo -e "GET ftp://ftp...../README.TX_ HTTP/1.0\nPragma: no-cache\n" |\
        nc localhost 8080
  to get the file from squid.
  (therefore the object is _always_ reloaded by the cache)
- then I watch the traffic from squid to the FTP server in cleartext
  mode using "tcpdump | tcpshow".
- And then I can see that _squid_ sends "TYPE A" to the _FTP server_.
