[SQU] What's mean 'redirect_rewrites_host_header option?

in Squid Users Guide Chapter 9. Accelerator Mode
I saw redirect_rewrites_host_header option. but I cannot understand this option.

our environment is below,

webserver --- switching hub -- router ---
                                 |
                             squid

What is 'redirect_rewrites_host_header' option?

and. Give me a some help. about server accelerator mode.
