Don't know where he is now, but the SSL support is quite likely to go
into Squid-2.5 before not too long.

For this to happen we require testers that at least run it in a lab
environment, so please test the patch, and report any problems or
questions to squid-dev@squid-cache.org.

The patch applies to Squid-2.5 snapshots from
