[SQU] concurrent copies of squid?

Is it as easy as giving different cache, log, and port numbers in the config
file (and specifying this on the command line) to run a second (or multiple)
copies of squid on a Linux box?

Also, if I do this, how do I direct a squid -k kill command to a specific
version?
