make a shell script and in this shell run the ulimit command with your
favorite parameter and then run the squid in the same shell . if it is not
worked check your avilable memory .

I had installed Caching server using squid software, There are some problem
that I need your help :
There are a lot of warning messages :" Warning :Your cache is running out of
filedescriptor "in my system ( in cache.log file ).Default configuration is
Filedescriptor =1024. Does filedescriptor not enought ?? How do I open more
filedescriptor ??. I have modified follow :
echo 1024 32768 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_local_port_range
echo 8192 > /proc/sys/fs/file-max
echo 32768 > /proc/sys/fs/inode-max
ulimit -HSn 4096
But It's not effect, even I have reinstalled Squid.
