[SQU] Disk-Space again

Hi all,
Referring to my previous message regarding the exceeding of the squid cache
directory
my squid is 2.3-stable3
OS Solaris 7
the tag that I have changed in the squid.conf is
cache_dir ufs 5500 16 256
I thought that this tag would force squid to limit the cache size to 5500 in
the worst case. please inform me if I am mistaken.
another question, if I want to add another cache directory, do I have to set
the same size on both of them?
I don't think so but I am just double checking.
