2.5DevelNTLM should not be used. I'm sure this has been announced here
before...
(Craig, not getting at you, just want to make sure this gets heard :])

*******************************************************
Auth_rewrite and NTLM are under active development.
No guarantees, no warantees, maybe not even
workees :]

All the core code is in the 2.5 daily snapshots and the HEAD tag of
squid.sourceforge.net.

At this point in time:
EARLY ADOPTERS of NTLM or Digest authentication, use
the squid 2.5 daily snapshots or the CVS HEAD.

DEVELOPERS ONLY (You plan to fiddle with the code and are
willing to get your hands dirty if something is not quite right), use
the auth_rewrite CVS branch for general HTTP authentication work or
the ntlm CVS branch for work on NTLM specific changes or
the auth_digest CVS branch for work on Digest specific changes.
*******************************************************
Why not use the auth_rewrite or NTLM branches for early adopters?
a) we break the code. Regularly in fact.
b) we don't keep it as up to date as HEAD is, because we only merge
approx once a week, so bugfixes for squid 2.5 may take some time to
be present
c) we don't know where you will be at code wise.
*****************************************************

Now Craig,
I'd like you to get the cvs HEAD or a daily snapshot and try again. If
that doesn't work, use the "client" program to request a URL that should
need authentication and post the resulting headers back (Skip the body).

ie bin/client -p 8080 http://www.outside.com

Thanks,
Rob
