This is info from my logs and squid.conf file, I'm trying to get squid,
(2.5.DEVEL workiing on a linux Mandrake Machine 7.2
kernel 2.2.17, I'm pretty sure my configuration is fairly standard, the
squid box is on a lan, functioning as caching proxy server, when trying to
access the net from an internal machine on the lan, I'm going through the
proxy on port 3128, the proxy resolves the address and informs the borwser
window that it's loding the requested site, sometimes even the titlebar
changes to the title of the site, just loaded yahoo.com and smoked a
ciggarete, when I came back the web browser said the page was "done" but all
I see it the Yahoo.com title bar and the yahoo logo, After checking the
access.log the logs are very similar to the ones displayed here with the
different addresses of course. squid.conf access.log and store.log are shown
here, if more info is needed let me know.. We're trying to set this up for
an enterprise proxy level caching server, with NTLM authentication, this is
my first try with it and there are no ntlm auth options compiled in, but
it's our final goal.

Any help is much appreiceated.

Subject: Re: [SQU] Problems with squid

Hey guys, I'm not seeing this specific problem in the archives or in the
FAQ, I'm using squid on a mandrak 7.2 box 2.2.17 kern, using squid
version
2.3.STABLE2
compiled with nothing special,

Squid box sit's on a lan, lan is behind firewall, squid box has direct
access out of the firewall, while accessing it through proxy on port
3128, I
send the request, the site's DNS resolves, and a very very small portion
of
the website comes back to me, I know it's not lag, we have plenty of BW
available, and the MS proxy we're tying to get rid of is working fine.
Any
ideas out there? Or references I should be reading that I'm missing?

Thanks Adam

You should elaborate on this; especially if you say that
a very small portion of a website comes to you :

  - is the browser giving error messages , after a while, exactly
what is the browser doing besides hanging.

  - look in squid's cache and access log for specific error messages
related to this problem
