[squid-users] flexible ACLs - making exceptions - FTP PUT

I am using this to deny FTP put

# Restrict use of ftp
# ___________________
acl ftp protocol ftp
acl PUT method PUT

http_access deny ftp PUT cit

Just now I was told that a couple of persons needed the feature so I tried to
make an exception using (we are using authentication so squid ought to know
the username)

acl clear ident mads
http_access allow ftp PUT clear

But it doesn't work

Anyone can see what's wrong?

I am testing using gFTP via http proxy
