[squid-users] Proxy writing cookies

I'd like to be able to configure the proxy server to save a cookie in
the client, containing the username/password returned from the
ldap_auth.
We are running Squid on a Sun box, but I am trying to retrieve these
values to use on our internal IIS Intranet server to avoid double login
dialogs.

I am not C++ capable, so don't know if it is possible to add the
required code straight in to the ldap_auth?

I am aware of the security issues, but this should be acceptable if the
cookie has a virtually immediate expiration.

Any ideas, alternative solutions would be much appreciated (yes, the
Intranet DOES have to stay Microsoft!)
