[squid-users] Accelerator w/Front-End Server

I am using httpd_accelerator (reverse proxy) with success when a single
server is accelerated for http traffic only.

However, when the single server that is accelerated pulls data from
another server the pages cannot be displayed in the browser.

The singer server is an MS Exchange 2000 server that is config'd as a
"Front-End" server.

Thus, the Front-End server pulls data from other 'Back-End' Exchange
servers - but the browser stays connected just to the Front-End server.

From the Squid system console itself, the pages open correctly - even
through a firewall that only allows access to the Front-End server IP
from the Squid IP - no other IPs are allowed.

Because no IPs other than the Front-End server are allowed I believe
that the Front-End server is working as stated and *not* merely
redirecting to the Back-End server as the firewall would IP of the
Back-End server through.

Sorry about the long explanation.

MUCH thanks in advance.

- Jeff
