Hi squid Hackers
is it possible for squid to reset the client TCP connection in case of an
error such as "No route to Host" or if DNS query fails or READ timeoutfor
transparent proxying case i.e instead of sending an error message back to the
client simply reset the TCP connection
or is it possible to send a 404 Page not found error header to the client in
case if any error takes place???

a few months ago Duane had posted a patch for resetting the connection for the
NIMDA / code red worm attack , but unfortunately it did not work in my WCCP
enabled transparent proxying case!!!!.. after a few mins squid simply stops
doing WCCP with the router..
will this require major code rechanges

TIA
Khiz
