Short answer: Not yet implemented.
Slightly longer answer:
Squid does not yet implement a SSL client. Only an SSL server is implemented.
HTTP (without SSL) is used in the communication to the accelerated servers.
Note to others: This has nothing to do with proxying of SSL request when
Squid is running as a normal proxy. It is only of relevance to accelerator
setups (which is NOT the same thing as transparent proxying)
