[squid-users] prolem of redirection and password

hi to all,

Problem 1 : once the user enter the login and password in the pop-up window which emerges from the browser, should be redirected to a specfic location say http://www.mydomain.com. just after the login a new instance or the existing one should be redirected to a URL (like a default page for the browser)
how can i do that..??

Problem 2 : can anybody tell me that password file uses which alogrithum to store the password

i have gone through all your documentation regarding squid on http://www.squid-cache.org but nothing clearly mentioned about this matter....
i configured the redirector but it didn't work.....

pls help
