[squid-users] Cache removal policy problem!!!

Hi,

I had Squid 2.4stable3 on a SuSE linux 7.1 (2.4.7 kernel) with the following
options:

--enable-storeio=diskd,ufs --enable-delay-pools --enable--gnuregex

and it worked fine. In order to increase the cache efficiency, I added the
following options:

--enable-removal-policies=lru,heap --enable-cache-digests --enable-poll
-enable-truncate

and recomplie the Squid. Then I change the cache_removal_policy entry in
squid.conf. As far as I've introduced these changes out clients complain
that the cache server does not reply their requests and they have to re-open
their browsers several times. Note that the cache server does not send
anything back to clients to explain the matter.
When I remove the --enable-removal-policies option and recompile the Squid
everything is OK.
What is wrong??? Please help me.

  Thanks in advance
  Amir
