Thanks Robert,

Dansguardian and Squid are now working together nicely.

I had to change 'localhost' to the IP of the local host.

Now I'm left with the problem of the /var/squid directory structure
continually having it's ownership changed from nobody.nogroup to
root.root. Any ideas?
