[squid-users] Password length in smb_auth

I have smb_auth working now with a 2.4 STABLE3 install of squid, running
Samba 2.2.2. It seems to be working fine. The only peculiar thing I've
noticed is that users with passwords longer than 8 characters seem to be
unable to authenticate in squid (NT passwords may be up to 14 characters
long). When they change their NT passwords to be 8 or fewer characters,
it works fine.

Does using smb_auth limit the length of passwords to 8 characters?
