[squid-users] problems with MSN Messenger and transparent proxy

Hi,

I have problems with the connection to MSN Messenger Service over
transparent proxy.
At home I use Devil-Linux as Firewall/Router with iptables for my home-LAN.
In the firewallscript I opened the ougoing TCP Ports HTTP, DNS and
1863(explicitly for MSN). At home MSN Messenger is working fine (I don't
want to use Netmeeting or Filetransfer, only Chat).
At work I have nearly the same configuration (the same OS, firewall and
rules). But in additon I use a squid as transparent proxy on the firewall
for traffic over port 80 from LAN. And here my MSN Session often dies. The
logon process (when successfull) takes a long time. Sometimes when I'm
logged in and send a message, I get the error, that the message could not be
sent. All other squid related things seem to work fine.

Any help would be great.
marco
