[squid-users] http 1.1 proxy?

Hello,

The Squid 2.4 proxy/cache always sends out HTTP 1.0 requests to the origin
server and always replies with HTTP 1.0 responses.

So this means that Squid 2.4 is not a HTTP 1.1 proxy, correct?

If Squid is not a HTTP 1.1 proxy then it will honor "Expires:<date showing
900secs from now>" headers rather than "Cache-Control: max-age=900" headers
... is this correct?
