Hi,

I Have a server DELL Power Edge 2450, this server have 512 MB of Memory, two
hard disc SCSI of 9 GB each, I am working with Linux RedHat 7.2, squid
version 2.4.STABLE1.

I am working with wccp, my module wccp is working fine with the router, But
I have problem after of few hours, my server is very slow, when I made a
ping at the server, the time is 130 or 200 ms, but when the server is
begning the time of ping is < to 10 ms, the ping I execute of the same net.

when I see the memory with command top of unix, this show:

6:26pm up 7:41, 3 users, load average: 1.97, 1.56, 1.15
73 processes: 72 sleeping, 1 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped
CPU states: 0.9% user, 75.5% system, 0.0% nice, 23.4% idle
Mem: 512932K av, 491808K used, 21124K free, 748K shrd, 45776K
buff
Swap: 1052248K av, 0K used, 1052248K free 156368K
cached

In the configuration of squid.conf I have the following:

cache_mem 256 MB
cache_dir ufs /proxi1 5000 16 256
cache_dir ufs /proxi2 5000 16 256
cache_swap_low 95
cache_swap_high 98
maximum_object_size 2000 KB
minimum_object_size 0 KB
maximum_object_size_in_memory 20 KB
ipcache_size 1024
ipcache_low 90
ipcache_high 95

I just put only this parameter but I have configured all the necesary
parameters.

I need your help, how can I better the performance?

Thanks,

Regards,
