[squid-users] never_direct + caching = impossible ??

Hi All:

I've configured my Squid to only use a proprietary
proxy (RPA, anybody knows?) as a parent proxy. So, my configuration
is:

        cache_peer parent 9788 3130 no-query default
        acl all src 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
        never_direct allow all

Parent proxy does not support ICP.
It works ok and all HTTP queries are passed to parent
proxy. The problem is that Squid is not more longer caching.
Every status is TCP_MISS:DEFAULT_PARENT (or something like this).

Is there a way to Squid starts caching ? And if it
not find an object in cache use directly the parent proxy ??

This configuration above works for me. But some caching
should be nice :-))

bests regards
