Cah you describe your setup a little.

a) What is your meaning of "transparent". (the word is ambigous and can
mean different things to different people or setups).

b) Are you using a redirector helper. If so, what kinds of rewrites is
the helper doing?

c) What httpd_accel_* options are you using?
