[squid-users] problems connecting squid server from Windows 2000

Hi!

I have running a squid server, OS: SuSe Linux 8.0. I've not yet configured a DNS Server, but there
are no problems connecting the server and receiving local http documents (like apachee start
site)from other Linux machines.

Only when I'm trying to connect the server from Windows machine via Netscape/IE, theres no
reaction on server side, no logs... FInally the windows machine aborts cause he cant find the
proxyserver.

Has anybody had same problems or any ideas what to configure. And where is - in this content - the
difference between Linux and Windows (in my browsers, I only configured Proxy and Port)?
