Use /etc/hosts if you like to use hostnames rather than IPs.. Supported in
Squid-2.5.

Note: DNS lookups is not much of an overhead for Squid. Sure, on the first
request for the server there is some overhead, but then the DNS lookup is
cached within Squid for future requests (subject to the DNS TTL)
