Hi,

This is working for GET and POST but not for CONNECT(SSL).
it seems squid does not redirect https request to parent if direct fails.
OR I miss something.
Please advise!

For this you need to combine no-query and perfer_direct.

cache_peer ... parent 3128 0 no-query
prefer_direct on
