Hi,

I'm currently testing the patch on your website to make Squid 2.5 understand
WCCPv2. The platform is FreeBSD 4.7-RC with GRE patches applied. The WCCPv2
patch applied cleanly to Squid 2.5-STABLE1 with a minor glitch -- there was
a part where it was looking for "include/autoconf.h" but there was only
"include/autoconf.in.h".

I then configured the router for WCCPv2 and the communication between the
Squid box and the router started:

2002/10/02 09:33:45| Accepting WCCP v2 messages on port 2048, FD 18
2002/10/02 09:38:56| Incoming WCCP v2 I_SEE_YOU length 84.
2002/10/02 09:38:56| Incoming WCCP2_I_SEE_YOU received id = 1.
2002/10/02 09:38:56| Incoming WCCP2_I_SEE_YOU member change = 1 tmp=1.
2002/10/02 09:39:06| Incoming WCCP v2 I_SEE_YOU length 132.
2002/10/02 09:39:06| Incoming WCCP2_I_SEE_YOU received id = 2.
2002/10/02 09:39:06| Incoming WCCP2_I_SEE_YOU member change = 1 tmp=2.
2002/10/02 09:39:16| Incoming WCCP v2 I_SEE_YOU length 132.
2002/10/02 09:39:16| Incoming WCCP2_I_SEE_YOU received id = 3.
2002/10/02 09:39:16| Incoming WCCP2_I_SEE_YOU member change = 2 tmp=2.
2002/10/02 09:39:26| Incoming WCCP v2 I_SEE_YOU length 132.
2002/10/02 09:39:26| Incoming WCCP2_I_SEE_YOU received id = 4.
2002/10/02 09:39:26| Incoming WCCP2_I_SEE_YOU member change = 2 tmp=2.
2002/10/02 09:39:31| WCCP2 Assigning Redirect

However, the Squid box doesn't seem to be processing anything coming from
the router. Inspecting the output of "ipnat -l" indicated that it was not
accepting any packets to be redirected to port 8080. The router's "show ip
wccp web-cache detail" output suggests that the router is redirecting the
packets to the Squid box.
