[squid-users] Squid always_direct problem

I am trying to setup an acl so that certain web sites will not use the proxy, the setup is as follows
 
always_direct allow FTP

acl internet-servers dstdomain .newcastlepermanent.com.au .drive.com.au .news.com.au
 
always_direct allow internet-servers
 
I am running Squid 2.4Stable6, Redhat Linux 6.2, Kernel 2.4.16
 
but whenever I try and load up any web site, such as www.newcastlepermanent.com.au it just times out
 
If I try and load up www.drive.com.au it comes up with connection refused
