What is squid_auth_ldap program is? What is written in
/etc/squid/squid_auth_ldap.conf file? What is in slapd logs?

Why not in "ou=People,dc=udev,dc=uptime,dc=at" ?

What do you compare? Passwords are usually hashed somehow.
