squid_ldap_auth in search mode is OU neutral, as long as the same
searchbase can be used for both OUs and your login names are OU neutral.

A good excersize is to start by using the ldapserach command to construct
the proper search filter for finding your users.

See the squid_ldap_auth manual for a couple of examples.

If you need to include the OU to be able to uniquely identify your users
then some customization will be needed. i.e. if you have different users
with the same "loginname" but in different OU.
