[squid-users] squid Net i/o performance.

hi all,
i tried to use the squid net i/o performance patches as provided at -->
http://devel.squid-cache.org/projects.html#visolve_tcp_rtsignal
i first patched Vitaly Luban's one-sig-perfd.patch for linux-2.4.x and
then applied Visolve's RealTime signal patch for squid-2.5.PREx.
but while doing make all i got error--->

is there something wrong with the patch or something else needed too ?..
i also saw that the size of "src/comm_select.c" was reduced by about
half(due to this patch)..
need help very **URGENTLY** !!
am using squid 25s1 with kernel 2.4.19 and patched with pre10 on rh7.3 !!
