to be exact BerkeleyDB version 3.2.9 works with squidGuard 1.2.0

I was here about eight months back and remember having the same problem!

 I am not sure what the problem is, note that squidguard can not use
 the latest version of BerkeleyDB, it needs some 3.x version,this
 may help.
