[squid-users] redirect_program for proxy selection

Hi,

I am looking for a way of redirecting incoming proxy requests from clients to
different proxy servers based on run-time traffic measurements like i) load on
the proxy, ii) Link utilization of the links if the proxy servers are connected
to separate access links.

It would have been wonderful if redirect_program can be used to redirect the
incoming url requests to other proxies. I could then plug-in the logic into
the redirect program. I suppose it is not meant for the purpose I am looking
for. Any help will be highly appreciated.
