[squid-users] caching files - where? how to open?

hi squid-users!

squid caches internet files and stores them somewhere
what i configured at comopilation time.
or later on in the squid.conf.
i, for example, store the cache at /usr/local/squid/cache.

BUT!!
now i want to for a specific file in the cache i've seen that
this file was downloaded (seen in access.log).
but i can't find it on hard drive??

root@proxy# find /usr/local/squid/cache -name filename.ext


so where is the file? how can i find it?
