There has been a lot of changes between May and November.. however, the
main focus is at the 3.0 development at the moment.

Both 2.6 and 3.0 are development versions, only made available for
testing and development purposes. It is not a good idea to run these on
production servers as no guarantees is made in functionality or
stability.

Your problem is most likely caused by a configure bug recently fixed in
the 3.0 series where some of the --disable.. configure options default
to be disabled (WCCP, HTTP violations, CARP) and must be manually
enabled with a --enable... option.
