And here is the point: You only do this once ever. Joining the domain
SHOULD NOT be done each time you start the computer.

Joining the domain cannot be fully automated as it either
  a) Requires the computer account to be created manually in the domain
prior to joining
  b) The username+password of a domain administrator (preferred)

The automatic cron job which keeps the computer account up to date once
the server has joined the domain does not require anything special
besides that the computer must already have been joined to the domain.

Even if you reboot the computer it will stay joined to the domain. Only
if you reinstall completely, loosing the local Samba secrets database or
if the computer is off line for extended periods of time and the
computer account expires from the domain then you will need to join the
domain again.
