32MB real + 64MB swap = 64MB virtual memory under SunOS..

your OS will use a fair bit of this, and Squid will require a number of
MB just to start so it is not at all unrealistic you hit 64MB in total
here..

How much free swap do your OS reports before you attempt to start Squid?
