[squid-users] squid cluster

Hello all,

      I was thinking of a squid environment with user authentication in a
load balancing cluster where the clients see the proxies throught a virtual
IP address in the load balancer, that redirects the requests to the proxy
servers...

      My concerns are:

      On the first connection, the chosen proxy will request for the user
authentication.. after authenticated, the proxy will permit the traffic,
but the load balancer will move the new requests for other proxy servers.
The browser will not know the proxy server has changed, and will (I guess)
send the HTTP request with the auth information to the new proxy.. Will the
new proxy accept it or ask again for authentication?

      Any comments are welcome.
