[squid-users] "squid -k rotate" and redirectors

Dear Sirs,

when I issue "squid -k rotate" the only thing I expect is to re-open logs.
No more.

1) Is that correct that external helpers also restarted ?

2) Which signal is passed to external helpers ? SIGTERM, SIGHUP or what ?
How squid will behave if I catch that signal within redirector ?

actually, I'd split "squid -k" into "rotate/reconfig" and
"restart helpers" :-)
