I am running Squid 2.4Stable6, and came in this morning to find the
proxy server daemon running but non-responsive to any requests form a
web browser.
I have tried doing a kill -9 on the pid of squid but it doesn't seem to
be making any difference, can anyone suggest something to do besides
rebooting the server.
I have checked through /var/log/messages and /usr/local/squid/access.log
but there don't seem to be any error message
