Hi all,

I have squid 2.5 STABLE1 on Solaris 2.8, and all works fine with a regular
browser, but when I use an applet (who do connection to port 22) to connect to
the internet I got the following error message:

2002/12/10 08:30:57| aclCheck: checking 'http_access allow i-auth'
2002/12/10 08:30:57| aclMatchAclList: checking i-auth
2002/12/10 08:30:57| aclMatchAcl: checking 'acl i-auth proxy_auth REQUIRED'
2002/12/10 08:30:57| authenticateAuthenticate: broken auth or no proxy_auth
header. Requesting auth header.
2002/12/10 08:30:57| aclMatchAcl: returning 0 sending authentication challenge.
2002/12/10 08:30:57| aclMatchAclList: returning 0
2002/12/10 08:30:57| aclCheck: requiring Proxy Auth header.
2002/12/10 08:30:57| aclCheck: match found, returning 2
2002/12/10 08:30:57| aclCheckCallback: answer=2
2002/12/10 08:30:57| The request CONNECT xxx.yyyy.com:22 is DENIED, because
 it matched 'i-auth'

It works fine on a squid 2.4 STABLE 7 with smb_auth (I mean with the pop-up
asking the user to provide username password) and not with transparent
authentication.
Thanks for the help if you can.

Regards,

Arno
