Yes . I saw that. Infact I downloaded the cvs code from "follow_xff"
branch using.

    cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.squid.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/squid
co -jfollow_xff squid3

That code I think is still not cot completed perhaps(There were files
missing like configure script).
However I apllied the differences of this code to current cvs squid3.
Configured and istalled using

    ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/squid --enable-follow-x-forwarded-for

 Doesn't seem to be working though!!!
