[squid-users] Patches

Greetings All,

How can you verify that a patch has been installed? I have followed the
procedure at:

http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-2.html#ss2.6

but I would like to verify that the recompile and make install has put
everything back in the right place. I have done an md5sum on the binary,
but there was no change after the install.

Any insight?
