No. There is no practical limit.

Probably you are out of CPU. Having very many redirector helpers
should only be needed if your redirector needs to wait while
processing a request, such as if needing to do an external SQL query,
DNS or whaterver..

If you are out of CPU it probably won't help adding more redirector
processes..
