Can the host OS resolve the name via nslookup or dig? Do you have
anything in the dns_namservers in your squid.conf? Can it resolve the
names of you parent proxies? What does the log say?

Obviously this is a name resolution problem, since it is telling you
that it cannont locate a dns record.

Subject: "No DNS record"

 Dear All,
Please teach me to solve this problem:
I have some SQUID servers, but I know only the 2 last servers:
 - I set them as two parent-child cache_peer, such as in the child
server's
 suid.conf:
         cache_peer aa.bb.cc.dd parent proxy-only no-query
When I connect to Internet through these proxies, I can connect only
with
the plat sites (such as http://www.google.com) but when I click on the
links
which are include some scripts (as the "Advanced Search", "Preferences"
link
in the home page of Google), I receive error only with the messages:
"No
DNS
Record". What it means? How to solve it?

 Best regards,
