[squid-users] Use of parent cache with persistent connections ???

Hi,

I am configuring a squid to use a parent proxy.

I have noticed that my squid does not seem to use any persitent
connection with its parent. Could I force it to do so ???

The main reason why I would like this feature running is that I have a
quite high RTT (several hundreds ms) between my squid and its parent and
therefor the TCP 3 way-handshake takes a significant time before
transfering any data.
