Looks like the space between ./configure and --prefix is not really a
space but some other character.. The error message says that the shell
did not find the command "./configure --prefix=/root/usr/local" with the
arguments "--quiet", "--enable-dl-malloc" etc..
try typing the line again. (and I mean type it again. do not copy paste
the line)
